Waiora's Beginnings



The name, Waiora, was chosen to reflect health and longevity, as achieved by bathing in the secret spring of Polynesian mythology's goddess, Waiora.

Stan Cherelstein, past President and Chief Financial Officer of another nutritional company,
which had been sold and restructured, spent considerable time and thought to develop an entirely new, more equatable Network Marketing (NM) / Multiple Level Marketing (MLM) business and compensation plan.

In addition he sought out unique life-changing natural products for the health and longevity of people around the world who are excited about these possibilities.

If you are familiar with NM / MLM compensation plans, you may understand what this means: 3 legs, 9 deep with compression. (The best my sponsor has ever seen.)

If you are not familiar with MLM compensation plans and aren't interested in finding out right now, just ignore that part. I wasn't interested in the compensaton plan at first.

Stan is one of the two co-founders, CEO and President of Waiora. Stan's choice for the other co-founder is Eddie Stone, a former co-worker. He chose Eddie for his charismatic leadership, who had phenomenal success during his 13 years as an independent distributor for another direct selling company.

This brand new company launched in May 2004 in Boca Raton, Florida. Within in two years it was debt free, and moving forward rapidly towards Stan's vision.

I've found people ask many more detailed questions about MLM products than any they have purchased "off the shelf". A company can't hide anything from the "inquisitors". So you can be sure the products are safe and more effective than the FDA allows any company to say.

A Brilliant Marketing Plan

Tim Sales is the name of a man who has put together a website and a 1 ½ hour DVD that explains Multi Level Marketing (MLM) / Network Marketing in a generic non-hype way.

One comment regarding Tim states, “he is clearly number one in honesty, integrity, knowledge and service.” He is unusually “real”.

When I first saw the 1 ½ hour DVD, I was astounded and thrilled with his professional presentation. The potential of MLM is made understandable and the old thinking that it is a pyramid scam is finally laid to rest.

Tim included an excellent interview with Dr. Charles King, Professor of Marketing at the University of Illinois, Chicago, as well as personal stories and pictures of other professionals who discovered the benefits of MLM.

However, since an hour and a half is a bit much for one sitting, it is easily divided into three half hour segments or two 45 minute segments.

No longer will a network marketer have to explain MLM or feel they have been bamboozled by shadowy characters.

They can feel proud of their business and the service they are providing by bringing quality product(s) and helpful information to people, who have been scammed by slick magazine advertising and TV commercials that pay people to act like your friend, family or neighbor. Actors can be “trained” to say anything to convince you the product they are promoting is safe and of great value. (Especially pharmaceutical drugs with a long list of side effects. Just ask your doctor!)

Questions …
Does Network Marketing drive up the cost of the product? Yes.

Does that mean the cost to the consumer is expensive? No

Non-health products would be less expensive than traditional companies.

If the products are “health products”, the NM company eliminates traditional distribution and employee payroll, taxes, insurance and bonuses.

The NM company may spend more on research and development.

The NM company pays more for customer service, since new members have many questions. *

The NM company pays large sums to their high volume Business Builders.

There are no fair comparisons in the market place.
The NM product is usually a better value.

* The NM company must be prepared to answer a multitude of questions
that are never asked about products sold in a retail store.

It is assumed that products in a retail store are monitored by the government.

It is assumed that the government protects the public.

In recent years we have discovered this is not the case!

A NM company’s ability to remain in business and protect their existence, is by taking responsibility that all aspects are of very high quality and provide expert service. The Fed's also monitor them, and they re a U.S. company.

A NM company’s products are usually unique and will move into the public consciousness faster when many members tell others.

This “Word Of Mouth” advertising is done by people you or your friends or neighbors either know or could actually contact and speak with.

Thousands of dollars are spent by “typical” retail manufacturers and stores on TV, magazine, newspaper and online advertising. The TV advertising is paid to an actor, for their acting skills, not for their personal endorsement.

Waiora’s products can be purchased 3 different of ways.

1. Retail: Example detail: Purchasing Products at Retail:
The Waiora Member probably has little, if any products on hand.
Most members do not stock inventory.
You can place your order with him or her.
Each Member has access to a personal website, which is attached to Waiora’s website.
It’s called the “Back Office”.
A Member can go to their back office to find out what your total cost will be.
Once you have paid for it, it will be ordered and delivered to you.

2. Preferred: Example detail: Purchasing Products as a Preferred Customer:
Fill out a Preferred Member Agreement.
You pay a one time fee of $9.95 to become a Waiora lifetime Preferred Member.
When you want to purchase products, you place your order with your “referred by” Waiora Member. You have the option of paying by check, American Express, Discover, Mastercard or Visa.
Your order will be shipped directly to you from Waiora.

The Waiora Member will earn 5% of 100 to 499 Customer Volume, (generally the same as dollar value). And 10% of 500 or more Customer Volume.

3. Wholesale: Example detail: Purchasing Products at Wholesale as a Waiora Member:
Fill out a Waiora Membership form.
Pay a Membership Fee of $29.95
Plus Shipping & Handling and Sales Tax charged in your area.

Waiora’s Unique Income Possibilities
for
Business Builders

Business Terms that relate to the above processes:

CV - Commissionable Volume:
A predetermined value is assigned to products, which are converted to “points”.
Be aware that the CV for the most part, is the same as the actual $ spent (within .05, .10 or .15 cents).
Example:
When your product item is shown in the catalog as $39.95 , you pay $39.95.
However, the CV is rounded up to 40 CV.
Except for the Superior Fiber Blend and the Skinscents Travel Pack.
The CV for these items is 5 points less.

PV - Personal Volume:
PV is the dollar value of products you purchase in a month via AdvantageShip or separate purchases. No compensation is earned on member’s own purchases.

In order to receive a monthly compensation from Waiora, a member must purchase a minimum of 100 PV or 200 PV in that month, based on their Rank. (See ranks below.)

A Retail Customer may sign up to become a Preferred Customer for a lifetime fee of $10.
They may order direct from Waiora and have their product delivered to them.

A Business Builder earns 5% from a Retail Customer’s PV 0f 100 CV to 499 CV.
A Business Builder earns 10% from a Retail Customer’s PV of 500 CV or more.

Customer’s Volume does not count as part of a Member’s PV or AdvantageShip.

OV - Organizational Volume:
The CV value accumulated each month by your purchases and those of your “downline”.
(Downline refers to people you enroll and the people they enroll.)
At the end of each calendar month, Business Builders qualify for one of six ranks.

Waiora’s Ranks:
Bronze: New member, no downline, not qualified to receive commissions.
Silver, Gold and Ruby are qualified to receive commissions when they purchase 100 PV per month.
Emerald and Diamond are qualified to receive commissions when they purchase 200 PV per month.


FastStart Bonus

The FastStart Bonus allows every member the opportunity to earn a
bi-weekly commission check based on the first 200 volume of their new enrolled Member's first order.

As your business grows, by enrolling new members, and/or by mentoring your “downline,
you will qualify to earn more, based on your “rank”, such as Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ruby, Emerald and Diamond. (See Compensation Plan – Ranks.)

Distributors have the potential of earning two levels deep,
which includes their personal enrollment activity (Level l)
and the enrollment activity of people they have personally enrolled (Level 2).

FastStart Pay Period

The FastStart pay period is based on orders placed and paid for
during two bi-weekly pay periods each month:
the 1st through the 15th and the
16th through the end of the month.

To receive a FastStart check,
Waiora must receive and process an order
no later than 11:59 p.m. EST (8:59 p.m. PT)
on the 15th or the last day of a month,

Business Builders wishing to include orders and receive payment
for a particular period outside of Waiora's hours of operation,
may process orders online though your Back Office
up to __________________.

FastStart commission checks will be mailed
three to five business days after the close of a FastStart period,
(by the 5th and 20th day?)
barring forces of nature that are beyond our control
that may cause a delay in the mailing of commission checks.

AdvantageShip:
This term is used to describe an automatic monthly delivery.

The amount may be changed at will, from canceling to what products and total cost are desired.

you must be signed up by (what date? ____________ ).
for either a $100 or $200 product order.

A commission check is based each month on
how many new members you enrolled in the previous month and
the Personal Volume (PV) of their order.

At the end of each month, the total points earned by all qualifying Distributors are totaled.

A Distributor's PaceSetter Bonus is their total points earned, multiplied by $25.
Example: 1 new Member purchases a 500

PaceSetter:

If a new Member’s first order is a 500 CV ($500) PaceSetter Pack they are permanently qualified each month to receive the maximum payout as long as they purchase the required PV for their rank.

ITherefore, it's to a Business Builder’s financial advantage to choose a PaceSetter Pack for their first order. Especially, if they think it’s possible they may enroll five (new) Members in the current month, each with a minimum 100 PV order - in the same month.

To continue to capatalaize on the PaceSetter Bonus, a Business Builder must continue to have an active AdvantageShip order with a minimum of 100 PV each month, as well as personally enroll five (new) Members in the current month, each with a minimum 100 PV order.

Then for each new Member personally enrolled during the month, an additional bonus is paid based on points earned.

Points are earned based on a new Member's initial order as follows:
1 point for 100 to 199
2 points for 200 to 499
5 points for 500 +

A Waiora member, who did not initally choose a $500 PaceSetter pack can maximize their income at any time by purchasing a 500 CV ($500) order in any one month.

Once the 500 CV order has been accepted, the Business Builder is immediately qualified for the maximum FastStart payout for the remainder of the current month and the following month.

Commissions
A Business Builder’s commissions are earned based on the size and structure of his/her organization (downline).

A new Business Builder’s first month commissions are based on their 1st month activity.
The bonus is paid based on points earned from each new Member personally enrolled during the month.

Example:
A PaceSetter Business Builder is enrolled in the AdvantageShip program for $100 PV and
enrolls 5 new Members in September and each new Member purchases a 500 CV PaceSetter Pack ($500).

The PaceSetter Business Builder earns 5 points per 5 new members (25 points).
(In 2008 the points are "worth" $5 each.) Therefore, 25 points x $25 = $625.00.
This $5 will be adjusted next year based on the company's profit in 2008.)


Waiora's Business Terms

1. AdvantageShip: Automatic monthly delivery
Requirements for your AdvantageShip and additional PV
are based on your level of activity in the preceding month, not the current month.

Mentor's Note regarding Advantage Ship:
Include AdvantageShip with everyone’s First Time Order.
Two days later cancel it, so the following month the product won’t automatically show up.
When you want products to automatically show up, call customer service or go to your Waiora's Member Account page (Back Office) and enter information desired.

2. Commission period: From 1st day to last day of a calendar month.

3. CV: Commissionable Volume (Points: predetermined value assigned to products)

4. Compressed Volume: Downline person, who has no PV in any given month, is not considered when calculating organizational commissions for upline.

5. Downline: persons sponsored

6. Enroller: The person who signs up a new member.

7. Frontline: Sponsored First Level is the beginning of a Leg

8. Level: Location of Upline or Downline

9. Linked Enrollment: If a new member enrolls with a $500 FastStart purchase
they will continually receive 10% of all purchases made by people they enroll.
By qualifying at higher levels, you can also earn commissions on the volume
of Members enrolled by the people you have personally enrolled.

Pacesetter Bonus
Paid monthly to those who qualify:
(In order to earn the most income from the day a member enrolls and "forever", it is wise to initially purchase 500 PV (purchse volume) wih is generally $500.

Order 500 PV or greater in any one month.
Eigibility begins in the month the order is placed.

Must have an active AdvantageShip with a minimum of 100 PV.
Must personally enroll five (new) Distributors in the current month,
each with a minimum 100 PV order.

The bonus is paid based on points earned from each new Distributor personally enrolled during the month.

Points are earned based on a new Distributor's initial order as follows:
1 point for 100 to 199
2 points for 200 to 499
5 points for 500 +

At the end of each month, the total points earned by all qualifying Distributors are totaled.

A Member's PaceSetter Bonus is their total points earned, multiplied by $25.

3. FastStart
Immediate rewards for selling products to customers and building an organization.

Paid bi-weekly with the pay periods running from the 1st to the 15th and
the 16th to the end of the month.

Commission checks are issued two to four days
after the close of the FastStart period.

Rewards are based on three factors:
1. Volume from your personal AdvantageShip
2. Personal Volume (PV)
3. Volume from people you personally enroll.

Requirements for your AdvantageShip and additional PV are based on your level of activity in the preceding month, not the current month.

However, a new Member’s first month requirements
are based on their 1st month activity.


Members have the potential of earning two levels deep,
which includes their personal enrollment activity (Level l)
and the enrollment activity of people they have personally enrolled (Level 2).

FastStart is paid as follows:

1. Retail Profits
Members can earn Retail Profits on products purchased at retail by your customers and products purchased by Members at wholesale and sold to retail customers.

2. Customer Rebates
Selling product to customers is an essential business-building activity.
The company provides a very efficient program for selling and delivering products.

Customers can sign up, order and have their product delivered directly to them from the company. Waiora rewards Members for customer orders as follows:

Customer Volume: 100 to 499 - Member earns 5%
Customer Volume: 500 or more - Member earns 10%

Customer’s Volume does not count as part of a Member's qualification for their own Personal Volume (PV) or monthly AdvantageShip.

To earn customer rebates, a Member must have 100 Personal Volume (PV) in the qualifying month and be in good standing with the company.


5. Monthly Organizational Commissions
At the end of each calendar month, Members qualify for one of six ranks.

The qualifications are based on the size and structure of their organization.

Three legs with an Emerald distributor in each leg within their first nine levels .

Waiora's Compensation Plan provides two pay periods bi-weekly
providing the opportunity to earn thirty-six (36) paychecks a year.

The FastStart Bonus allows every Distributor the opportunity to earn a
bi-weekly check.

Each period, you can earn commissions on the first 200
in volume of your new enrolled Member's initial order.

By qualifying at higher levels, you can also earn commissions on the volume
of Members enrolled by the people you have personally enrolled.

3. FastStart Pay Period

two bi-weekly pay periods each month: the 1st - 15th and the 16th
through the end of the month.

Waiora must receive and process an order no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on the 15th or the last day of the month to be included in the FastStart check issued for that period.

Members wishing to include orders and receive payment for a particular period outside of Waiora's hours of operation, may process orders online though the company's website at www.waiora.com.

FastStart commission checks will be mailed three to five business days
after the close of a FastStart period, barring forces of nature that are
beyond our control that may cause a delay in the mailing of commission
checks.

4. Organizational Commissions Pay Period
Based on a calendar month.
Orders must be received at Waiora’s office no later than midnight (11:59 p.m. EST via phone (Office closes 6:00 pm Est.). or recorded on Waiora’s website www.waiora.com or fax for the sales(s) to be included in the commission check issued for that month.

FastStart commission checks will be mailed between the 5th and 20th day
of each month for orders received during the previous month, barring
forces of nature that are beyond our control.

If the commission checks mail date is a holiday or weekend, commission checks will be mailed on the following business day.

Detailed information for a Member's check is only available online in the Member's Back Office / My Account area.

Should a Member request a hard copy of this information, there will be a service fee.

If a Member believes there is an error in their activity report,
the Member must notify Waiora immediately in writing or within forty-five-(45) days after the end of the relevant commission period, the Members waives all recourse with respect to such alleged error.

5. Lost or Replacement Checks
If a bi-weekly or monthly commission check is lost or misplaced, or a request for replacement for a check under $50 will result in a credit adjustment will be made to the subsequent monthly check.

If a commission check is over $50, the Member can request a replacement check and pay a $5 fee, or have an adjustment made to their account that will appear the following month.

Requests from Members for checks not received, will require a thirty (30) business day waiting period from the date of the original mailing.


Organizational Commissions are calculated using compressed volume,
which means that any Distributor that has volume of less than 100 PV
does not count as a level.

Emerald Growth Bonus
Designed to reward Emeralds for their efforts as they grow their businesses month after month.

The bonus consists of one percent (1%) of net local country volume,
paid monthly and shared among the Emerald Bonus qualifiers.

To qualify for the bonus in any given month,
A Distributor must be an active Emerald.
Must personally enroll two new PaceSetters and
Increase their month-over-month,
qualifying seven-Level Organizational Volume (OV) by 2,000.
Qualifying Emeralds will earn shares of the bonus based on leg OV.

How to qualify
In order to qualify for the Emerald Bonus, Emeralds must achieve the
following monthly requirements:
1. Must be an active Emerald in the qualifying month.
2. Must personally enroll two new. members each with a Pacesetter order
of 500 CV or more in the qualifying month.
3. Must increase month-over-month pay line (seven levels) OV by 2,000.
OV is based on highest attained OV using June 2007 pay line OV as the beginning base.

How to Earn
1. 3 legs each with a minimum of 5,000 OV = 1 share
2. 3 legs each with a minimum of 10,000 OV =3 shares
3. 3 legs each with a minimum of 15,000 OV = 5 shares
4. 3 legs each with a minimum of 20,000 OV = 7 shares
5. 3 legs each with a minimum of 25,000 OV = 10 shares

The Global Diamond Bonus
The Global Diamond Bonus is designed to reward Diamonds for building and
growing their organizations. The bonus consists of three percent (3%) of
net global commissionable volume, is paid quarterly, and is shared among
Diamond Bonus qualifiers. To qualify for the bonus in any given calendar
quarter, a Distributor must maintain a rank of Diamond or higher, grow
their quarter-over-quarter qualifying Organizational Volume and earn the
necessary Diamond Bonus Points. Qualifying Diamonds earn shares of the
bonus based on Diamond rank.

How to Qualify
In order to qualify for the Global Diamond Bonus a Diamond must achieve
the following quarterly requirements:

1. Be an active Diamond-level for all three months of the quarter.

2. Increase their cumulative quarter-over-quarter qualifying pay line (9 level) OV.
This means that to earn the Diamond Bonus for the first quarter,
your combined January -March nine-level OV must exceed your
October December cumulative nine-level OV for the second quarter bonus,

April - June cumulative nine-level OV must exceed January - March for the 3rd quarter bonus.

July - September must exceed April – June for the 4th quarter bonus,
October - December must exceed July - September.







NOTE: This growth requirement will be waived if 50 Diamond Bonus Points
are achieved in a quarter. (See #3 below)

3. Earn a minimum of 30 Diamond Bonus Points in the quarter.
Diamond bonus points are earned as follows:
2 pts. Guest speak at a qualified open meeting
6 pts, Teach a Waiora certified training course
8 pts. Produce a new qualified sales / training tool
1 pt. Recruit a new PaceSetter
4 pts. Break a new Ruby, who you either personally enroll
or who is in your first three pay levels
12 pts. Break a new Emerald, who you either personally enroll
or who is in your first three pay levels
20 pts. Break a new Diamond who you either personally enroll.

5 pts. Increase quarterly paid on volume by 10%

Rik Deitsch’s book …
Rik along with Stewart Lonky, M.D, board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary and
